Snipe Hunting

Our snipe hunts are a fun way to get active in search of snipe along the banks of the St. Johns River. Your captain/guide will load the boat with your gear and start flying up or down the river to the destination. We park the boat on the bank and start walking. This is very active and requires some grit to walk through the swamp. Get ready, because these birds move quick and are spooked by movement and talking. 12 or 20 gauge shotguns are recommended. If you don't have one, you can rent one of ours. Shotgun shells are available for purchase or you can bring your own. This season runs from November to February. Licenses are required. 4 Person Max Per Booking. Hunter Orange Required.
